“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who
have no money, Come buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and
without price. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall
live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—The sure mercies of
David. Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.”
(Isaiah 55:1,3,6)
"Prayer is the battle, it is a matter of indifference where
you are. Whatever way God engineers circumstances, the duty is to pray. Never
allow the thought—‘I am of no use where I am’; because you can be of no use
where you are not……We have to labor along
the line of God’s direction, and He says pray.” (Oswald Chambers, Utmost
for His Highest)
Read and meditate on these Scriptures:
“All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned everyone
to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was
oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not his mouth; He was led as a
lamb to slaughter, And as a sheep before his shearers is silent, So He opened
not His mouth.” (Isaiah 53: 6-7)
“though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And
having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who
obey Him. (Hebrews 5:8,9)
“knowing that a man is not justified by works of the law but
by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might
be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law; for by the works
of the law no flesh shall be justified. For I through the law died to the law
that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in
me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith in the Son
of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:16,19-20)
“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of
His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba, Father.’ Therefore you are no
longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
(Galatians 3:6-7)
Pray for:
1.
God’s people to be salt and light, and that we
will create an appetite for righteousness in the hearts of the unsaved.
2.
A God consciousness among the lost that will
cause them to seek after Christ.
3.
Your lost friends, family members, and
associates by name and keep praying for them until they repent and come to
Christ.
4.
A right understanding of Scripture and the power
of the Word of God to change our lives and the lives of those we come in
contact with.
